History:
Izumi grew up in her mother's flower shop. While other children were out playing? She was learning the fine parts of gardening and how to tend to delicate blossoms. Since her mother was always busy in the shop, her father tended to the rest of her educational needs. This meant she did not learn the "typical womanly" lessons. Her sewing skills were lackluster. Her cooking? Abysmal. But, she was skilled with a blade, a bow, and even in alchemy!As her teenage years approached, Izumi grew tired of the shop, her mother, and the constant pressure to prepare to takeover. The flower shop was her mother's dream... not hers. So she hatched a plan to escape this forced fate. Izumi found her chance on a delivery to Limsa Lominsa when she stumbled onto a seemingly empty ship.The Miqo'te woman found her way into the cargo hold and tucked herself between the shipments. She had hoped to be undiscovered 'til the ship reached it's destination... but luck would prove to not be on her side. Thankfully, Izumi was able to work out a deal with the crew and was welcome aboard... as a pirate recruit.Life on the High Seas was exhilarating. Izumi was constantly learning new skills, meeting new people, and seeing new places. Sure, she may have to steal or kill from time to time... But, the freedom was worth the risk. Izumi even found a new lifelong hobby... Fishing. The crew always teased how they wouldn't have a bite to eat without her.Alas, you can only run from Destiny for so long... Izumi returned home to the flower shop. After taking over, she renamed the shop to "Zumi's Flowers" and put her own little spin on the place. For those who she trusts or those in need, the downstairs has various tinctures and toxins for sale.Izumi refuses to become like her mother. To prevent giving up her freedom entirely, she decided to hire staff. Kasumi tends to the main shop. Mayumi tends to the bar downstairs. Yrys tends to a stall in front of the shop and handles all deliveries of supplies. With her friends aiding her, Izumi is able to take off on adventures to find more beautiful blossoms... or just get a hot cocoa in a local cafe.

Location, Location:
On the weekends, Izumi can often be found on the dance floor. She is always on the hunt for amazing venues and new people to party with. Did we meet on a dance floor or at a bar? Maybe you met her at the Scarlet Manor during a shift? She is also always at The Dark Forest Cafe, enjoying a hot cocoa.
Pirate Past:
Izumi spent some of her years on the High Seas going from place to place with a "friendly" pirate crew! Did you have a run in with her at a port? Or were you in one of the many battles she fought in?
Free Time Fun:
During her "free time" Izumi can often be found at some source of water. Either fishing, swimming, or just relaxing near the sea. She is always happy to have someone to chat with, as long as they don't scare away the fish!
Yrys Monnawesfv
A sweet Viera that Izumi met while sailing and exploring the world. Yrys joined the crew and left his home looking for his purpose.Whether he has found it or not is uncertain.. But for now, the man has decided to stick with Izumi as her best friend and co-owner of Zumi's Flowers.He can often be found working just outside the shop at a little stall where he has fresh flowers available. Ziero Djt-Crem
Izumi happened to stumble across the Viera man one evening when she had stayed out too late gathering herbs. He was kind enough to offer her a pillow to lay her head on and his campfire to warm her body with. The two ended up spending most of the night chatting and becoming quick friends!Soon after, Ziero stopped by her flower shop with a proposal. Izumi had mentioned that she was looking for a way to ship her goods between cities in bulk. Moogle mail was just getting far too expensive! Thankfully, Ziero is a traveling merchant! The two have been working together ever since.Recently, their friendship has blossomed even further. Ziero asked Izumi to be his girlfriend during the Starlight Celebration and she agreed.
Leiha Zhwan
A talented woman and one of the best tailors you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. Izumi was was able to meet Leiha through their mutual friend, Ziero. Now the pair are like two peas in a pod. She has Izumi's complete faith and trust in all things.Although they have quite opposite opinions when it comes to fashion, Izumi will often ask Leiha for help. Whether it is making a new piece of clothing or helping Zumi figure out what textures go together... Leiha is truly an expert.
Caelum'sae Nhaesin
Izumi first met Caelum at The Dark Forest Café. His special, Cael's Creamy Cocoa, had won her over at first sip.The two have since become fast friends and coworkers at the Scarlet Manor!Unfortunately for Cael, Izumi quite enjoys teasing the Miqo'te man. They both have apartments near the cafe and she often shows up at his to borrow his bath or annoy him.
